Eastgate Lodge is sponsoring a photo contest in two categories from June 1, 2008 to September 1, 2008. The winning entrants in each category will receive a Masonic Watch. The runner up picture will receive a pocket knife.
Entrants will be judged on best interpretation of the theme. All photos will become property of Eastgate Lodge #155 giving full recognition to the photographer. The Worshipful Master will be the sole judge of the winning entries. The Master nor his family will be eligible to enter in the contest.
The two categories for the contest will be:
1. Masonry in Action. The winning photo will best capture the spirit of Masonry at work in the community and should display the square and compasses.
2. The Hand of the Great Architect of the Universe. The winning photo will best capture the beauty and/or wonder of creation in everyday life.
All submissions will be made to wm@eastgate155.com in an electronic format that will support being resized to 8 x 10 without loss of definition. Included will be the date, time and location the picture was taken and the principal author and Lodge of the author.
This contest is open to all Masons in the Juridiction of Oregon.
